COVID-19 Updates

In an effort to ensure the safety of our staff and clients, we are utilizing low-contact service to all our clients for all pet care needs.

It has been a challenging year and we appreciate your cooperation and patience. Carmel Mountain Vet Hospital would like to welcome you back into the hospital building!

For clients who choose to come into the exam room with their pets we ask that you follow the below safety protocols:

  • Only one client per pet inside the hospital.
  • Masks are required when inside the hospital, no exceptions.
  • When you arrive, please call to let us know you are here and our team will ask you the in-take questions for your pet. When we have your exam room prepared, we will ask you to come to the front door and escort you directly into the exam room.
  • When in the exam room, we ask that you social distance from the veterinary staff (this means you will not be able to hold your pet during the exam).

For those who prefer to remain outside the hospital, we will happily continue to offer curbside services. Please let our team know if you prefer curbside or in-hospital when booking your appointment.

According to CDC guidance, there is no evidence that companion animals or pets can spread COVID-19 to date. For the latest information about coronavirus and pets, we encourage you to visit the CDC and World Health Organization websites.
